What can be removed with advanced blemish removal?

We can remove skin tags, milia, blood spots (cherry angiomas), spider naevi, seborrhoeic warts and certain raised skin lesions. We don't remove moles. These always require GP/dermatology review.

Does blemish removal hurt?

What is advanced blemish removal?

Also known as advanced electrolysis or diathermy, this treatment uses a fine, sterile probe to deliver a precise pulse of heat to the targeted blemish, drying it out and allowing it to lift away cleanly during the healing process.

It's quick, accurate and ideal for the kinds of small skin imperfections that creams and home remedies can't shift.

What we can treat

Skin tags (anywhere on the body)
Milia (small white cysts, often around the eyes)
Blood spots (cherry angiomas)
Spider naevi (small thread veins)
Seborrhoeic warts
Some raised pigmented blemishes (always after assessment)

What we don't remove: moles. Any pigmented lesion that could be a mole or that's recently changed must be assessed by your GP or a dermatologist first. We'll never compromise on this.

Your appointment

Your 30-minute appointment includes a thorough assessment of each blemish, the treatment itself and aftercare instructions. You'll feel a quick scratch as each lesion is treated. The sensation lasts seconds.

Once treated, the blemish will form a small scab that heals over 5–10 days. Most blemishes leave no visible trace; in rare cases of larger or older lesions, a small pink mark may persist for a few weeks before fading.

Aftercare

Keep treated areas dry for 24 hours
Don't pick the scab. Let it fall naturally
Apply the aftercare cream we provide twice daily
SPF 50 on treated areas for 6 weeks to prevent pigmentation
No swimming, saunas or active workouts for 48 hours
